TERM 1 LESSON 1

Introduction to the School and the Course.

Author: Doug Stanton

LESSON  1

It is a wonderful privilege to be a Christian and it is an even greater privilege to become a minister of Christ. This is so often misunderstood in concept and responsibility.

In this series of studies I intend to bring the reality of your call and destiny to the forefront and create not only a desire to learn but also the belief that you can attain to it. The word expresses the desire that should be in us to “lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus laid hold of us for…”

VIDEO TEACHINGS:

A large part of your training will be with Video Teaching that will be available though your secure back office.  As you notice in my writings that I am making this personal in speaking in the first person, so I personally get involved in your training in every way I can. Let me tell you how this will work.

I will introduce each Video teaching either by a small video or a written explanation or both. Like this:

[SAMPLE VIDEO]

It will follow with the main teaching video, which will predominantly be my teaching and at times teachings by trusted veteran ministers I introduce to you. Some times I will add a special video from ministers I interview concerning certain subjects that are close to their heart and ministry.

AFTER EACH VIDEO:

I will highlight certain things that I feel are important to your ministry possibilities in what has been shared and how each video relates to your possible ministry.

QUIZES, QUESTIONS & SMALL ESSAYS:

To help you digest what we would like you to learn, we will have multiple choice quizzes and well placed questions. This will also help us access how you have grasped the essence of the teaching.

Here is an example of a small quiz. It will not be our aim to make your learning difficult. We desire to make it an enjoyable experience to grow in your knowledge of scripture and ministry.
